Some time ago I was diagnosed thru a brain MRI as having a nonspecific 9 mm right retropharyngeal lymph node. I do have hypothyroidism (take Synthroid) and chronic infections in sinuses and throat and lungs (asthma). I've also been diagnosed with multi chemical sensitivity.
I was reading a bit about it and noticed it seemed to be tied in with cancer. No doctor has shown any interest but because I have a lot of complaints and lab reports they probably don't even notice.
Can anyone explain this? Is it important? Are there further tests that should be done? Is it self limiting? Does it have any effect on the brain or nervous system?
