can u have rls as a young child? this started as a child and i am 26 soon. symptoms are discomfort or tingle in legs, constantly moving shifting and contourting legs and body a million different ways to find comfort and relief, comfort with legs elevated but moreso to a an extreme.... as in stretched appart in a V-shape (the pressure on the legs from this feels freakishly soothing) over ones head in a fetal position legs over couch headrest (couch is best way to hold this position) .... no pillow for under your head that causes discomfort, only head feels okay parallel to back or tilted back almost upsidedown feels good (but never raised) you could not even begin to imagine how silly this looks, or maybe you can >.<
the only thing i can do to aliviate some disdiscomfort (before i fall asleep in a funny positions) is to do some streatches.... that tendon behind the knee, this only helps minimally. cuz there is more weirdness >.< oh yes, my feet feel like they burn on fire. i can never wear socks to bed and my feet can never be covered with a blanket (as a child my ma would ask why i never covered my feet when i got tucked in.... and i would always tell her "my feets need to breath"), i spray my legs and feet down with pepermint spray for the cooling effect and blast a fan on my feet. i still can never fall asleep easy, trying to get some sleep is like a one person catotionist 3-ring circus!! talented girl :P
a child can seriously not have rls with burning feet can they? what could be the cause and i need a solution as well.

OK IF NOT L;OOK AT THE SITE FOR POSSIBLY MORE HELP.... hey i checked this out with some help and understanding. i think i may have to see a doctor. i just cant believe that i could have this as a small child and with the burning feet sensation :(i am going to go on the assumption that its poor blood/oxygen circulation only because i suffered from black-outs as well as a child that last a few seconds to half a minute long as a child.i am going to have to do more research, perhaps on the syptoms of children that are born with circlatory problems. maybe this is me?then i need to figure out if i should be on some sort of perscription medication that can increase the blood/oxygen flow thru my body and to my brain. i kinda found a workout suplement a few years back that claims to increase bloodflow thruout the body called NO2. maybe this is a option? also i would like to figure out what herbs naturrally do this so i am not putting pharmicuticles/man-made subtances into my body.
