I'm hoping someone has heard of this symptom or has heard of someone who has this symptom. I have been to 3 specialists who all tell me that if it doesn't hurt, then 'you are not dying'. I don't know where else to turn and I can tell you if they had to live with this, they wouldn't be saying live with it.
About a year and a half ago, I was rounding a corner at work when another person was coming the other way. We both jolted to a stop. I went to take the next step and there was excruciating pain that 'felt' like lightening through my buttocks muscle. I thought I could walk it off but it only progressively got worse through the day. By the time I left for home, I had to hug the walls to reach my car. I took some pain killers when i got home and went to bed. The next morning, I woke with no pain. However my entire right side of my body had a lessened sensation that was not quite numbness. I cannot feel anything on the suface of my skin, but can feel pressure. It's much worse in my face and sometimes my face goes completely numb. Only on the right side.
I also suffer from moderate to sever sciatic pain in both legs and moderate to severe headaches/migrains. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I'm putting it in here just in case. Thanks!
