  • You may need to give more details. It could be a compression syndrome of the nerves of the hand, basically carpel tunnel. Although it could be caused by a variety of bone disorders. If your hand/finger timps turns pale when exposed to cold, it's called Raynaud's Phenomenon. Which, can also be caused by infection or intrinsic defect of your capillaries. This could result in finger numbness, because of oxygen restriction.

  • tingling has to do w/ the nerves. Have thought it might be carpaltunnel. I get that sensation in my right hand also, my fingers more often.

  • look up Dermatomes online and look at a picture to try to figure out if the area that is going numb is associated with a single nerve or all of the nerves in your hand. basically, if it's just your middle finger and index finger that is getting numb then it's a problem with a specific nerve branch.. that would indicate that it's probably more complicated than carpel tunnel.
