 I am so confused and don't know where to turn to!? I have had back surgery at L4-L5 area(Artificial Disc replacement) with NO decrease in pain tolerance. My initial area of concern was this same area under ribs in July 2003....However the doctors said it was because of a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease so we then chose to have the surgery in 12/2005. We are in 2009 now and still the same problems. Pain when I breathe in on right side under ribs and extreme fatigue. Physical therapy, warm water therapy(YES I even went and got a hot tub), steroid shots, pain medication, and more but I still hurt when I breathe in. I had blood tests and liver tests that came back fine. The only thing a little low was thyroid. Retested thyroid next visit and it was within normal limits. I am 27 years old and should be enjoying my time with my 2 children but instead I am in pain and worried that the Drs are not looking out for my best interest but give me meds to cover up the symptoms. IF ANYONE can help please DOOO.. Thanks for your time....and GOD BLESS!
