I am a 21 year old female. I had my first kidney stone when I was 15, 5mm had the shockwave lithotripsy done. Since then I get UTI's all the time. Had 3 more stones at age 20, 4mm and smaller, and had a stent put in. Since the last time I had stones my right kidney has not stopped hurting. Went to the emergency room and had a CT scan that revealed no stones. They said they didn't know what was going on and sent me home. Went to my primary physician and have had a few UA's done and keep finding blood and also my urine is acidic, no stones and no one knows whats going on. I cannot get anything for the pain!! Since there are no stones they think I'm making things up I guess...But there has to be something wrong!! Its been almost a year with this pain and its really impacting my life! Anybody have any idea??
