I have had some pretty annoying symptoms for the better part of two years now. The doctors have tested me for things like thyroid problems, diabetes, PCOS, lupus, etc. They haven't found anything other than a genetic mutation that could be responsible for my multiple miscarriages. The symptoms include headaches since I was a teenager that are now mostly migraines, aches and pains throughout my body especially in the shoulder and back, dizzy spells, flushing, weight gain, high cholesterol and anxiety. The doctors have said things like, "You're overweight and your body is holding in too much heat," and "You're overweight and you probably have a heart condition." I have had a heart cath (which resulted in bleeding out and achieving a monstrous hematoma from which I am still recovering) that turned out to show no blockages or heart disease. I have a sister who has lupus, a grandmother with aplastic anemia, and heart disease runs on both sides of the family, several family members with fibromyalgia, anxiety and depression. Any thoughts on what is going on? I'm at the point where I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I don't like the way I feel and I can't seem to find a way to get relief.

  • I have had a lot of the same problems. I have had a constant ache in my neck and shoulder area. I have taken every conceivable medication, epiderals, shots, therapy. The pain has move to the tolerable zone, but now I have mouth sores, wt gain, headaches, insomnia, fatigue. Every Dr just wants to give me more drugs and I already went thru ***l getting off of oxicodone. My life has gone down the tubes to the point that I go to work and come home while my family waits on me. I almost never go anywhere and i just want to lay down. I don't know what else to do.

  • TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE FED UP WITH WESTERN TREATMENT OPTIONS: Please consider acupuncture as a viable treatment for your problems. It can really help people get back in balance! To find one near you visit www.acufinder.com and type in your zip code. TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WITH SYMPTOMS WHO CAN'T GET A DIAGNOSIS: Visit www.candidasupport.org and www.wholeapproach.com and get info on candida overload, which can cause a dizzying array of seemingly different and varied symptoms. EDUCATE YOURSELF!Hope this helps.Doctor of Oriental Medicine

  • Acunn I couldn't agree with you more!!!! In a perfect world ALL of our doctors would be acupuncturist were Eastern medicine would be our TRADITIONAL form of medicine. I hope I live to see the fall of the pharmacutical companies who only make expensive drugs with toxic side effects. Most leading to the need for MORE drugs, all which mask symptoms rather than getting to the root cause of the problem. I hold so much graditute to people like yourself who have the knowledge, strenghth and courage to go against the 'norm' and do whats right in the field of health and healing. Its people like YOU who make a difference in this world and for that I thank you :)yours in health,Stacy
