My middle finger has developed a ridge on the palm side, between the middle knuckle and the palm, just below middle knuckle. It feels like a ridge when rubbed across, but when looking at it with the finger bent it looks like a round somewhat puffy area under the skin. No skin color change and it is not dry like a callous. I can see a very tiny light tan dot in the center of it. Is this likely to be a tumour or can I safely wait a few days and see if it goes away? It could have been there awhile and I might not have noticed since it is not painful or itchy. It isn't mushy like the cysts I have had in the past elsewhere. Ridge really is the best way to describe it. It is firm, but not rock hard, and does not affect movement of the joint at all.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
