About two years ago without any symptoms or significant events, I noticed that my ejaculate was a reddish brown color and was immediately worried. I didn't do anything about it and wanted to see if the problem would disappear. About 2 weeks later my left testicle started to swell and became very painful. I went to my urologist and he diagnosed me with acute epididymitis. I was given a plethora of urine tests, blood tests, ultra sounds, and even a CT scan. I was cleared of all STD's and given a clean bill of health. After being prescribed Cipro for 10 days the problem was cleared but within 2 months my symptoms returned and so did the epididymitis. I was referred to a urologist specializing in sexual dysfunction, and did more tests with him rectal ultrasounds, cystoscopy, etc.
After all this they finally found something! There was a small cyst on the left seminal vesicle. When they drained the cyst, the doctor said there was a small amount of sperm in the cyst indicating that there is some sort of blockage in the left vesicle that caused the cyst and thus causing the infection to keep returning. After going to see a few more doctors and having all doctors involved comparing notes, they were unable to locate the blockage or have any idea how to go about solving my issue. I am 24 years old, and this problem keeps reoccurring once every 2-3 months, please I need some insight or at least some ideas that I can take to my doctors.
