Hi All
Approx every month I have an ulcer on my throat near the back of my mouth on the right not far from my tonsils. It has grown as big as a 5p before and is very painful. I saw a doctor who recommended Adcortyl in Orabase to relieve pain and fight the infrection when I have them, which does work but it doesn't stop them coming back. He also signed me off work with depression but I'm over all that now! He thought they were there as I was run down.

I gave up smoking 6 months ago and they seem to have been here since then, can anyone suggest why they may be appearing and in the same place all the time. I am a signer so it's very inconvenient when they are there.

Thanks

  • You need a second opinion. How are your defenses? Are you taking supplements to improve your immune system?

  • Well, since it appeared when you stopped smoking, I suggest you to see if you could have ulcerous recto-colitis
