Im a healthy 35 year old in good shape i have always worked out and eaten right. In the past 12 month I have gotten the same fever sore throat thing over and over so that Im afraid to go to the gym because it seems at first like everytime I went it came back. The doc always diagnoses strep but then the test comes back negative. It starts with a high fever for about three days, then when thats going away the sore throat comes and lasts anywhere from a couple days to a full week. Sometimes it only hurts on one side and it hurts so bad my ear hurts. Sometimes its both. After that I have a nasty cough for about two weeks. Frequently I will get mouth ulcers during this time. Also for some reason it seems to occur aorund the time of my menstral cycle. I went to a ENT and he didnt blink and said he could yank out my tonsils but I dont think I can be out of work that long and it didnt even ever see me sick, my tonsils DO get larger when I have the virus but they are small otherwise.... Seems like he was a bit hasty to do it as well... Any ideas anyone? Feel free to write me back at ursamajor1000@gmail.com if you have any ideas that might help. Right now Im trying all sort of herbal remedies to boost my immune system and a carvacrol gargle thats very unpleasant.
