Patient comes in, African American, 30yoa, 72" and 179lbs, with concerns of stomach pains, he had blood work done revealing creatinine levels at 3.07mg/dL, repeated a week later showing creatinine levels 3.17mg/dL, eGFR at 29, Westergren Sed rate at 52mm/h, (-) ANA IFA, but the kicker is that in his urine there was no evidence of blood or protein. MRI shows no evidence of obstruction or intrinsic masses in the kidney are are normal size and in normal position, with the only major impression is diffuse fatty infiltration in the liver. Patient is being sent for a kidney biopsy.
