I am 18 years old and I have had irregular periods since I got my first period when I was 12. Normally I would get my periods every 3-5 months. I've been to gynocologists, and I was always told that it was normal, and they would put me on birth control to try and regulate it. I've been on two different types of birth control in the past, and I quit taking them because, instead of making my period regular, it just makes it continuous. The last time I was on birth control I bled for a month and a half, non-stop.
Anyways, this past March I had a miscarriage and since then I've been having my period every month with very extreme pain. The pain is so bad that I can barely walk sometimes, and I almost just want to go to the hospital (but I'm stubborn and I refuse to go).
I was just wondering if it is normal for a miscarriage to cause such pain and regulate your period?
