When my foreskin is roll back, there is reddish swelling after the glans. No pain. The swelling about one cm after the glans, reddish swelling on my skin.

I noticed about this during my first sex. Normally I don roll back my foreskin at all. And I think this swelling make me cannot feel much during sex even though I have no issue in masturbating.

Is there a need to roll back the foreskin and clean everyday? I had never once roll back in my entire school life. Only now adult sexual encounter then I know about this reddish swelling after the head of my penis.

Will the swelling heal by itself if I clean everyday from now?

  • It is imperative for uncircumcised males to clean under their foreskin with an unscented soap & water on a daily basis. If you do not wash under the foreskin, a cheesy material, called smegma, accumulates. This can become infected & cause irritation. Now, based on your description, it sounds as if you have balanitis. You can also get balanitis if your partner has a vaginal yeast infection. You can Google balanitis & check medical websites to learn the cause, treatment & prevention.
