red spots under the eyes

I've had some red spotty patches under both eyes for about 4 months. Dermatologist diagnosed rosacea, but after 10 days cortisone, one tub rosacea cream and 4 weeks on antibiotic (tetracycline), the spots are still there, as itchy as ever.
Any ideas on this? I've read about a rare skin condition called demodicidosis, frequently mistaken for rosacea.
I would be grateful for any help you can provide, sure I don't look very pretty in this period!

  • Try B-vitamins; won't hurt, cheaper than a doctor. I'd try a good *stress* formula from an herb/vitamin shop; not the cheapo one's. It's what is clearing up my face from the red, itchy, scaliness. Another thing to try would be minerals; mud cake on your face! *hehe* I know it sounds icky, but wouldn't it be fun and it's all natural!!! :p

  • Try looking into other conditons such as Lupus. Might not be what it seems to be...
