Would appreciate if someone could give me a clue as to what cause of my problems is. Came out of hospital after hernia op under GA and had had a CT Scan and Barium meal xray. All ok and then week or two later developed red eyes in morning and then dry eyes . Now I have red eyes in morning until hour or so they clear up, continuous bags under eyes for no reason and dark eyes in corners of both eyes again as if I havent slept and also eyes are very dry in corners and not like they used to be. Also the eyes feel not right, although had them tested by optician and aree ok as far as sight and backs of eyes is concerned. Also red coloured neck that was not there before and a bit of a cough with flem but not bad cough but can tell feels like infection of some kind. Has now been 3 months and still same. After many blood tests only thing that Dr can say is that my liver function test is fluctuating and going up and then down but he cannot pinpoint what is causing it. Asked if I drink, but I dont. Only changes in my life were (a) the hospital operation and (b) moved house 5 months before this started. Place is damp "ish" and has some mould as has been confirmed but not sure now whether this is an allergy that I thought at first. For sure if look at eyes alone one could think that it is like extreme case of allergy where eyes have dried up and got bags under them and dark, but this doesnt explain why symptoms of red eyes ONLY appear when I am lying down and awake in morning and then after hour or so of being up seem to go after opening windows and getting fresh air. Any ideas ?. JP
