I am a 16 year old girl and have dealt with red cheeks all my life but my doctors say that it isn't rosacia. Naturally they are a light red but when i get hot, embarrassed, exercise, get sick or get allergies my cheeks get extremely red. My forehead and chin also get red but not as much as my cheeks. Basically all im asking is if there is anything i can do to get rid of them or get them to not be as red?

  • My friend and I suffered the same problem. If we were excited or nervous the redness migrated down our neck to our chests. This is unscientific however, I believe it hereditary. Are you of English descent? The English have very ruddy complexions, they appear very healthy with their rosy cheeks and faces. You will out grow the migrating redness with embarrassment, we did at approx age 20.

  • I found a product called Purity by Philosophy very calming. It is a cleanser that does not even sting your eyes. It won't happen overnight but everytime I stop using it the little veins and bumps start to come back. Hydrocortisone topically works faster. Try to get a script for extra strength and only use on the areas. Not a cream to use all over the skin. You can get samples of Purity at Sephora. See a plastic surgeon and have him zap them with a laser. Usually very affordable. Good Luck.
