Since before christmas i have been getting a recurring cold. It is really getting me down as it has lost me my job now. My job was a physical one and with me feeling so drowsy all the time i was unable to work.
I will have the cold/sore throat/chesty cough for around a week then have a couple of days where i'm ok but just a bit tired then a couple days where I'm fine, and then the cycle repeats. I have been to the doctors and they did a blood test but nothing came back. Now they want to do another one to test for thyroid problems.
Does anyone know why this is happening. I just want to be well again.

  • I second the possibility of allergies. I know that when my allergies are really bad, I am super sleepy. Being stuffed up and having snot run down the back of your throat (yum!) will make it sore, and make you cough.Good luck! Allergy tests aren't nearly as bad now as when I was a kid!
