I used to get bronchits twice a year ("only") for the past 18 or so years. I'm in mid 30s and even as a child had issues with my lyrinx etc. But the last year I had bronchitis 4 tims and now I'm at it again... I did go to a cheif pulmonologist in october. They did all the tests (I hope): for asthma-the breathing test, the blood work for immunolog y and also some special MRI of my lungs. All came out perfect clean... The Doc said that it's just how I am- how my genes are put together etc.

In adidition, I usually end up with lyringitis immediately after the bronchitis. Last one was especially nasty and it took weeks for my voice to recover completely.

I'm at it again unofrtunately. I feel really lousy and I'm starting to worry. It's been only a few weeks since I got 100% better and here we are again...

I never smoked nor was I ever around smokers.

Thanks for any inside..

Ela

  • I forgot to mention that I usually take Mucinex to help get the mucus up. it's worked, but of course there is also the entire cold that comes with it...
