Have recurrent virus (6 times this year) that now will be seeing infectious disease specialist for early in Jan.

I get throat infection (looks like strep but is not), swollen glands, fever, SEVERE muscle pain throughout entire body. Each time this occurs symptoms appear to be getting worse (higher fever, pains more intense, lasts longer). It really knocks me off my feet. All tests have come negative (lyme, lupus, arthritis, etc.)

Any ideas?
