Recurrent Virus (Throat infection/fever/severe muscle pain)

I have been having recurring infections of some sort (6 this year) that i now have to see an infectious disease specialist for.

It appears to be a virus with an infected throat (looks like strep but always negative), swollen glands, fever and SEVERE muscle pain all throughout my body. With each occurrence, symptoms are getting more severe and taking longer to go away. All tests have come back negative so far (mono, lymes, lupus, etc.).

Any ideas?
