Hi, I'm a fifteen year old boy.
I've been having fevers for three years now. Initially, they were almost periodic (three to six weeks), but in this last year they have become more irregular.
I've been examined by many doctors
Only did blood count tests (regular blood tests) and CT to ear and sinus.
Everything normal, except mild eosinophilia and IgE=1000 (regurarly) and 1600 (with fever) (I'm asmathic, and my pulmonologist says that the 1000 is caused by my asthma; she doesn't know about the last range so she didn't comment). CT reveilled sinusitis, but my otorhinolaringologist says that type of sinusitis wouldn't cause my symptoms.
Fever (38-39ºC, sometimes higher), always with sore throat and cervical/neck lymphadenopathy. Usually with cough, headaches and sometimes earaches.
These make me think that I might have recurrent infections instead of recurrent fever. (probably even immunodeficiency)
Please, help me, because this three years have been a living **** and I need an answer. Feel free to ask me questions, I'll be pleased to answer.
P.S.: I live in Portugal.
