i am 17 (almost 18) and having been putting on weight continuously for about 3 years (i know, i know it sounds normal). the wierd thing is that even if i am ill or eat less i never lose weight or even stay the same weight for more than a week. i didn't mind for a while but now i really feel i am a weight that i am not comfortable with and really want it to stop. diet/exercise DOES NOT work.
is there anything that coud be wrong with me??? it's ruining my life and i desperately want it to stop :(

  • Recent research shows that individuals who have difficulty loosing weight have often antibodies against a common cold virus called AD-36. It can be checked with a blood test. They think that this can explain some of the obesity epidemic in the world. They are currently working on a vaccine. So there is hope for the future. But I also think you need a check up. Good luck!
