I have been suffering this skin problem for almost 5 months now. I have been seen by the doctor more that 5 times and each time they give me an antibiotic(different kinds) it will temporarily go away, but the rashes comes right back. At first, I had a minor scratch on my arm, that developed two pimple-like infections on the scratch. It was red and sore, so they said that it was just an infection. Got 2 kinds antibiotics, came back a week later with a rash on my entire trunk and chest area. They were extremely itchy, and so scratching made them scaly but not bleeding or oozing, just itchy and dry. Got a diagnosis of Scabies. Got the cream, applied it before bed, I think I had to leave it on my body for about 12 hours or so. That didn't help. I used up the entire tube and the rash didn't go away. I went again after that they said it looked like a drug reaction, so they recommended not to take any meds and just use benadryl. had some amoxicillin in the med. cabinet so I ended up taking that instead. It went away, but as soon as the 8 days of meds was done, 3 days after that, the rashes came back again. same thing, I ended up taking cephalexin for ten days, got ointment(clobetasol) that made it go away again, and then 3-4 days after all those meds, the rash came back. took cephalexin again and the rashes went away. Now I have previous rashes on my legs and feet, that have turned into sores that are oozing clear fluid, I wake up with a new sore on my feet. They are like the size of a dime. They are making my legs sore, and the oozing is uncontrollable. It's extremely ithcy. Please help me.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
