My penis head is red and it is irritated or something and it's uncomfortable and i do not know what it could be. i got sun poison about a month ago but all of that cleared up but my penis isn't looking too good. I was wondering if you knew what it could be?

  • Do you masturbate with a rough cloth? If you have frequent erections and your pants aren't very loose, you can irritate your penis head. You could try silk underwear or sleeping in the nude. But if its actually an infection, I wouldn't be able to help you.

  • thanks for the help but i am not circumcised so i don't think that it could be that because my foreskin covers the head of my penis so i don't know what it is.

  • Ah...well...let's see...it's probably a sexually transmitted disease. You need to get checked for everything, including a blood test for syphilis and herpes 2.

  • oh come on; if you're having sex, it can be a STD. Don't be so naive and know this for the rest of your life: sexual partners most always tell the person they don't have anything, either because they don't know they have anything, or really want sex. Go get tested and take her with you. Be sure to insist on the herpes 2 blood test and syphilis.

  • You may have a yeast infections. Women get these fairly commonly, they can cause burning, itching and discharge. If your partner has a mild yeast imbalance, she may not have symptoms, but can still pass the yeast infection to you. Many are unaware that men can get this from their partner, it is rare, but it can happen. There are over the counter medications for this such as Monistat, but you may want to see a doctor if the condition gets worse or starts to spread.

  • Get tested for std's. Many don't show up clearly. Many people, both men and women, don't know that they have one. Some are not easily diagnosed. There are some that can be bacterial as well as viral. Get to a doctor.
