Rash on back

I have had a cluster of small, itchy, red bumps on my middle back for about 2 months. 2 months ago I slept in slightly dirty hotel in Miami and when the rash showed up the next day I thought it was due to bad bugs. However, it is astill there! Sometimes, it flares up and gets really itchy and other times it dries out and looks like it is going to go away. The whole area is about the width of a coca-cola can. Sweat and heat seems to make it worse while soapy baths seem to make it better. Any ideas?

  • I think bed bugs are like a mite, that burrows under the skin. There is also scabies that is similar. Go to a dermatologist and have him examine it so you can get the right dx and treatment.
