Hi, I am 17 years old, and I randomly get this pain under my left shoulder blade. It feels like it lines the outside of my shoulder blade, and extends a 1/4 of the way down my rib cage. Not under my rib cage, but ontop of it on my back. I have read many of these blogs, and can't seem to find anything that describes my pain exactly I get it randomly from time to time when lying down getting ready for bed. Its been happening for a while, but it'll go away for weeks sometimes months, and then one random night ill lay down and it'll come back. Its a very intense pain, and sometimes makes me want to cry and leaves me unable to sleep. It'll last about 2-5 nights then go away. I have a history of kidney infections, but only in my right kidney and I am used to the symptoms I get when it comes to kidney infections, and this is not one of them. If anybody has any info on what this may be about I would appreciate it before I go to the doc and go through millions of tests for them to just tell me they don't know. (I don't like tests, nor going to the doctor in general) I have broken a lot of bones, but nothing around my shoulder blade
