I'd just appreciate anyone's ideas / input.
What would cause a "healthy" individual to become lethargic for a couple of weeks following simple infections like flu, cold, sore throat, UTIs, etc?
Malnutrition? Presence of infectious agents in the body? I know there could be a lot of different illnesses that cause lethargy and you're just more vulnerable after being infected with something but,
what I'd like to know is: Are there any specific diseases, conditions, bacterias, viruses out there that would cause you to be extremely tired for a couple of weeks following diverse common infections. Let's say I get the flu in may and get extremely tired for a month... Then in september, strep throat, get rid of it but get lethargic for a month, UTI in december, same result. Ideas?
