First of all, Runescape14, what you are going through sounds a lot like what is happening to me. Any answers? Very annoying symptoms

Pulsating is the EXACT word i have been using and no one seems to understand!!!!

Today is Thursday.
I am a 20 yr old female.
This weekend I started experiencing tingling and numbness. *progressively worse.
*my whole body is tingling; especially my hands, arms, and face.
*When I eat I can't tell if I got it all in my mouth and I feel like I have a hard time holding things.
*I can't tell if my feet are touching something so I am continually tripping or accidently "playing footsy" with someone sitting accross from me.
*I have struggled with depression since I was 14. I take a lot of medicine for depression, anxiety, and sleeping problems and thought that was the issue when I stumbled upon this site.
*Also, I smoked marajuana(sp?) this last weekend and the tingling and numbness was uncontrollable. I smoked on occasion in high school, but have not in three years or so. When I did though, I occasionally experienced this "pulsating". No one else I've talked to has heard of these side effects from smoking. AND again, that was 6 days ago. I shouldn't still be having side effects? I feel like the pulsating/tingling/numbness is stuck. I even left work early today.
*dry mouth
*sweating/chills have also been an issue.
Thank you for your comments.

  • Blaze,I'm new at this so bare with me.Was your reply to me or to the original post? If it was to me, I constantly have my cell phone with me and am surrounded by electronics at work, including wi-fi. It's my job. What does that mean for you? I was worried I was coming out with the first symptoms of MS.

  • Wow. That is really amazing. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that! I think I have found that I just have a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Apparently it runs in the women in my family. The pulsating gotten a lot better since I have been doing the drops under my tounge. What a relief.

  • Yes B12 is the best thing to rid the pulsating cell phone buzzing feeling in any limb or part of your body, usually it is the buzzing in feet or hands most of the time, but B12 helps get the nerves in good health just like potassium helps in not making you jump at the mere shut of a heavy door or just eat a banana the human body is unique and all natural fibers do help keep it in check.

  • hi samkmw I am a 19 year old male and last week on Tuesday the exact symptoms began happing to me and i had know idea what it could be, but after reading your post i am pretty much positive that it is vitamin b-12 deficiency i have booked for a blood test on Monday to get it checked out, so what did you have to do or what do you have to take to fix this deficiency?i also get a very similar feeling when i smoke weed and many people don’t know what im talking about, about 6 moths ago i had some weed and had this same feeling for a few days after which i felt was very weird but i forgot about it and know it has came back and i didn’t even smoke any :S i hardly ever smoked it only a little when i was younger. Ok well i would really like to know what you did to fix yours, it would be a great help thanks.

  • First os all,it is important to remember that marijuana can cause distorted perceptions and lack of coordination.Next,I would consider drug interactions in view of the several medications you are on.This does not sound like a B12 deficiency to me.

  • Samkmw:So just last night I woke up to this strange pulsating going threw my WHOLE body. as well as my vision had started to look like a flip book. everything was slow. I also have done Marijuana before and the symptoms I felt last night felt JUST like I was high. But I wasn't. I've only done Marijuana once and that was last year. This Lasted from 12AM to 5AM last night. I hate the Pulsating feeling! And I also felt like I was going to be sick. What happen? Did you find out what happened to you?
