I have a question. Within the past year, I've started getting this puffy eye every three or four months. It's really strange--the inside corner of my eye and the top of my nose near it will start to itch really bad. If I rub/scratch it too much (and sometimes even when I don't) the entire corner of my eye will puff up! It stays that way for a good 24-48 hours and then just disappears on its own. I have no idea what causes this--allergies would make both eyes puff up, wouldn't they? Besides, what kind of allergy would only affect my eye once every few months, for only a day? I was thinking it might be something in my tear duct--blockage maybe? But again, why so infrequent? Maybe someone else has experienced this and can help me figure out what it might be and whether I should go to the doctor next time it happens....
