Psychosis? Help?

Ever since someone close to me lost her job, due to unknown reasons, she feels as if people are "out to get her". She hears people talking to her, telling her that there are others "out there" that are blaming her and that know what she's doing at home. She feels as if no one can understand what she's experiencing. She told me that there is something "real" that is there, but it is not a part of her. She admitted to seeing and hearing me and my boyfriend talk about her across the room, but when we go to talk to her, we talk about something else, and she felt like we were accusing her of.. Something?? She will not go into detail about what she hears because she thinks it's too disturbing and bizarre.

Recently, she said she heard something in the attic, and had to go investigate it. She was deep in the attic, and almost fell through the roof, making a huge hole in the ceiling. It's scary..

She goes to a counselor and a psychiatrist, but I don't think she's telling them everything she needs to tell them, because it's not really getting much better. We're very worried and not sure what to do at this point. It's off and on sometimes. We feel it's triggered by stress.

Symptoms include: Hearing voices (some hallucinations, mostly auditory), fear, anxiety, depression, paranoia.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
