I also get a weird rash on my fingers that itches and is filled with a clear fluid- comes and go's with no apparent reason. my hair falls out in handfulls, I have been to the e.r. twice with a very embarassing problem- inability to pass bowels for long periods of time (4 days or more) along with extreme pain and pressure that will not allow me to pass urine either. oNce it was a polyp and this last time who knows- but I was impacted. I drink LARGE quantities of water on a daily basis as i can get bladder infections at the drop of a hat (does wonders for my sex life). have tinitus almost daily etc etc. I promise, while there is more, I'm done posting!

  • Greyladymae, look into Lupus, lyme HH6 virus, Epstein Barr. The HH6 may be responsible for the herpes whitlow on fingers

  • Has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome been ruled out? Many patients test positive for EBV,Lupus and Lyme. Many also test positive for HH6 which is a form of herpes virus(not neccesarily the sexual form). Ever been tested for that?

  • chronic fatique and fibrobyalgia with seronegativespondlarthropothy are the current diagnosis. also bpv, migraines, depression otherwise not specified. I think that's all. Unfortunatly it leaves to much out and I just keep getting worse. I've had 4 knock me down and pray my head doesn't explode migraines in the last 30 days. Not to mention the normal headaches I live with. Oh, my migraines tend to be cluster migraines I 'm told. I'm also going color blind, and losing my depth perception. I was blind when I was about 6 and told that it would be life long, however it was temporary and no one knew why then or now. been called a liar by doctors with that one as a matter of fact. (walked out and got a new doctor when that happend- twice!!!!)

(?????) Hi, greyladymae, You say that you have been diagnosed with Lymes, Lupus & Epestein-Barr. Now, without applying rocket science, we are presuming that you have tested positive, yes? And if the rash on your fingers indicates HHV-6, then you will likely test positive to this too. Have you been tested for this? Your Dr says that the clear fluid is "probably nothing"???? His diagnosis in that respect strikes me a a little belligerent. It could be any one of a number of things. I think you should insist on a throrough re-assessment in that area. You also say that your Dr's keep changing your diagnosis....please be insistant and dont settle for that. Thats what I did for many years, and this only made me sicker...not a good start to making myself well. You may or may not know that patients with Chronic Fatigue also display such symptoms and consequently test positive to such illnesses. Do a google search in relation to your symptoms, and see what you come up with. You said in your original post that "there is more." Spill the beans.....LOL How about your lifestyle to this point? General well-being, Emotional stress, Up-to-date immunisation record, Family history, Significant health "hiccups"(issues) etc, etc. ?? Also, what kind of occupation are you involved in? Evidentally, line of occupation and illness are strongly correlated. I really think you should check this out. Keep me "posted"...pardon the pun LOL.:) Emily

  • Hi Emily.I'm an inpatient treatment center counselor by occupation. (alcohol and drugs). I have run my symptoms through google and come up with brain tumor over and over again. memory loss, inability to concentrate, left foot dropping when I go for a walk, pain in my hips and lower back when I walk, dizziness when standing or turning my head, thyroid problems, muscle spasms, restless legs, constant ringing in my ears, frequent bouts of vertigo, frequent bladder infections, LOTS of hair loss, clumsy hands- the fine moter skills- however that is episodic as is the hair loss, constant pain at the base of my skull, muscles so tight it is like iron bars- mood swings, suicidal ideations- and i have not been able to work since the 'buzzing' or electric feeling in my brain started, a little over a year ago. I always run a temp of at least 100.5 and yes, I have tested ANA positive, and then negative about a year later. So lupus diagnosis came and went. I am not settling for the current diagnosis as I know gut level it is wrong. I have another appointment tuesday. We'll see. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I know that just about all of us in here feel that and I think that paints a pretty depressing picture of our doctors and treatments. I'll get off now before I get on my soap box!
