I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.
I had my second child 3 weeks ago by c-section because my 1st child was a c-section. Now I noticed about 4 days ago a hard area in the top part of my belly button. I had a little pain when bending over but I figured it was just from my abdomen healing. Then the day before yesterday the inside wall of my belly button on the upper part, started to get hard as well. Then it started forming a round protrusion. I have a burning itchy pain in the area. Now it has grown to fill the entire belly button opening. Its warmer to the touch and the skin around it is reddish. It looks like a marble stuffed in there. Its sensitive to touch and when you push on it, it gives then stays soft until it reshapes itself. I went to my obgyn and he had no idea what it was. He pushed on my belly and said he didn't think it was a hernia. He only suggested that I put hydrocortisone cream on it and he didn't think it had anything to do with the surgery. I'm a very healthy person so I think it must have something to do with the surgery. I wasn't doing anything strenuous other than sleeping on the couch taking care of my new born. The only thing I could think of was me sitting up from lying down on the couch. So what's the deal? Has anyone else had this happen? If so what is it? I plan on making an appointment with a regular doctor and would like any info or related stuff to help figure out how to fix it.
