Sometimes after having sex, I have what feelings like a pulsating prostate. It is honestly the most painful feeling I have ever felt. Thank god it doesn't happen everytime, but when it does it keeps me up for hours. It is starting to get me nervous and no one I've asked has ever experienced it. I'm only 25 years old so I don't think its cancer. It's been happening to me for a few years now. Has anyone ever heard of this happening to anyone??

My husband recently has been experiencing this too, and he is really concerned.

Doctors say they've never heard of it. Glad I'm not alone. Pain is quite impressive! It seems to flare up, causing a recurring problem for a week or so, then go away for several months. I think it has to do with "congestive prostatitis"... Mine gets worse if I don't have sex/orgasm at least once a week. Excitement without release can also get it started. Coffee seems to make it worse... Tea has no effect, so it's not the caffeine. Drinking too much (alcohol) also can cause a flare up. Don't urinate for at least 15, and better yet 30 minutes after orgasm... Don't know why, but this makes it worse. Wad up a towel and sit on it rocking back and forth (pressure on the external anal/rectal area) to relieve the pain. It usually passes in 5 minutes or so.
