Prolonged bloodshot eyes, no pain, no mucous

Hi, my eyes have been bright red for over a week now. I started a new job where I am at the computer for 8 hours, but I just graduated from college, so I don't feel like my computer use has increased at all. I have been extremely tired as well, but even when I caught up on sleep this weekend, my eyes showed no change. The only time my eyes hurt is when I use Clear Eyes with astringent (so I stopped doing that). I know I should not have, but I have used contacts some days, and my eyes don't feel or look any worse.

I do not think I have pink eye, as I have had it before, and I would wake up with my eyes completely glued together with crust. This is not happening now at all. In fact, I have almost no sleep in my eyes at all and they are pretty dry. I guess I want to know if I should wait this out, and abstain from contact use, see a doctor (which I can't really afford, but I guess if I had to, I'd go), or should I try some different OTC eydrops, they even make ones for pink eye, which maybe I have and it's just different than the pink eye I've had in the past.

Thanks for reading and please advise if you are so inclined!
