Problems with Wisdom Teeth

I had my 4 wisdom teeth moved about 2 years ago. Shortly after the extraction I experianced some problems and the dental assistant diagnosed it as dry socket. They then stuffed the hole with cloves to encourage healing.

I am still experiancing troubles in the same area where I had 'dry socket'. I have a foul taste in my mouth if I rub my tongue over the area and it is also always sore. I went to another dentist who told me it was nothing and to be careful when brushing so it would continue to heal. That was over 8 months ago and I am still experiancing the same foul taste as well as a very sore jaw and headache the past few days.

I am hesitant on returning to the dentist because I am tired of them not doing anything as I know something is not right.

Has anyone experianced or heard of this before?
