I am a 34 year old woman . I have primary amenorrehea . I had normal second sexual features since early teens and developed very normaly although i am overwight (200 lb) now due to medicine and depression .
I visited so many doctors and took so much medication . I seem to have an infant uterus and small ovaries .my FSH level is low .
Since 15 years the doctor prescribed birth control pills and since then i have been taking them and only after taking it that i have my period running .
i am a virgin cause i live in a conservative religious society . i was worried to prevent a marriage partner of sex and children so didnt get married . now i am engaged and my finace knows about all it and is ok with it but i am still worried .
i do masturbate and i had my intimate moments with him and ex-boyfriend but i dont know if what happens to me is the normal sex drive and relation . i think i don't reach orgasm or not as strong as I hear it should be . could this be true ? is it steroids that affect this feeling of incomplete sex ? would u please help me ?
my questions are :
1 – In my case am I supposed to have normal sex life ?
2 - can i have a babySince I have my period after medication ?and does this mean my ovaries ovulate due to this hormone placement?
3 - can i stop my pills from time to time to rest ?

desperate to receive an answer

  • Check for a micro or macro adenoma pressing against the pituitary gland. In my case, it caused an overproduction of prolactin which made my body believe it was pregnant and also reduced my production of estrogen. An adenoma is a benign growth or tumor that can only be detected by an MRI. A nurse practictioner suggested the MRI when doctors were content simply with prescribing birth control pills. Now, I'm up for surgery to remove the macro-ademona (it grew from micro to macro.) The problem can also be addressed with medication. The hormonal imbalance can also affect sexual desire, temperament, bone density, etc.

  • I read your post and it does relate to me by 100%!!!I was as concious before my wedding as you are, so here are the facts.- Yes, you can have a very normal sex life or sex relationship with your husband. You are just normal like any other woman!-Yes, you can have a baby or babies!..i'm also a primary amenorrhea person but concieved my twins in just the first attempt following instructions from my infertility doctor. You need to have babies as soon as you get marry as it does take time and age does play a part. Don't see any doc, go straight to the infertility expert in your area.-I and you have very low levels of FSH, so the drug 'clomid' in our case is not right. I was given series of FSH stimulating hormones and periodic checks of the growth of eggs in the overies were maintained by viginal ultrasound. Once the eggs reached above 17mm in size, i was given an injection that causes ovulation to occur. You could feel ovulation as you get little cramping and the doc tell you the exact day when to have the intercourse. I was lucky to concieve my babies in the very first try....the trick is to be patient and have a positive attitude.-you may be promted to check the flow of whole fallopian tubes etc to ensure that there is no blockage to prevent sperm movement to the eggs. This is not very hard. Trust God and trust yourself. Best of Luck!if you want to know more about my personal experience, write to me at Shigella_2007@yahoo.com
