Hello, I have a pressure inside my head. It's located kind of behind my nose and goes down to the upper jaw. In the beginning i felt the pressure was ontop of my head (like a layer, like a was standing on my head). It doesn't hurt like a headache. My balance is worse if I move and if I do a sudden turn my movement is often slightly delayed. I feel that my cunciousness ins't as good as it used to be.

All these symptoms came suddenlly and I've had them for two months now. In the beginning I thought it had something to do with drinking alcohol because when you have been drinking at night and wake up you still feel the alcohol and for me it felt like it didn't go away because of pressure in head and balance and conciousness. All symptoms gets worse when i bike to the university and my pulse keeps going fast for while that is longer than usual. I don't know if it's the excercise or the cold weather or something else that makes it worse.

I've been trying to get help but no one knows what it is. I've taken blood tests, urinal tests and they have checked blood pressure, lungs ears nose throught etc but havn't found anything. It's better after rest but it nevers goes away. Please help thanks in advance!

  • Sounds like you have a chronic sinus infection. Behind your nose are ethmoidal sinuses and upper jaw is linked to maxillary sinuses. Chronic sinus infections also can cause vertigo. You should see an ENT specialist for evaluation.

He has had an ongoing sinus infection and has been told that these are some symptoms that go along with it. Have you asked about these possibilities? Not sure about the other symptoms. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

If it is an ENT clinic they should be able to test and treat your sinuses. I am not familiar with an ear test. I would make sure at the clinic they are referring you to that they will be able to help you with your sinuses. Good luck, I really hope they can help you and this gets resolved soon!

  • It's been a while now and it's still not gone. I took a CT-scan on my sinusis and it was nothing wrong. The doctor doesn't know what's wrong he doesn't think it's dangerous. That is all he says... I am really down right now, i don't know what to do, i can't live my life as fully as before. The worst part of my issue is that i don't feel as awake as I used to be. Any help/tip is appriciated!my current feeling:i don't feel as awake as u should feel (im not tired)pressure ontop of my head, it feels as an object pushing my scull down. This feeling goes down to the nosemy eyes sometimes wants to focus further away where i'm currentlly looking atmy overall physical state is good, i bike to the university everyday, i eat heathy
