A friend of mine is pregnant. This is her second pregnancy, but this time she's had rather severe problems. The baby is (thankfully) fine, but she's had chronic pain in her legs, as well as numbness. She, currently, can't even walk to the toilet. She is being sick absolutely all the time - after any and all food and liquid. She's the most life-filled person but is currently struggling to stay awake. She is, as she ought to be, in hospital - but they've not really got as far as a diagnosis. They are hoping it's some sort of viral infection, though they also suspect something nerve based.
I don't want to be ignorant on the topic, and if anyone has had similar problems, or Doctor's have any insights, I would be most obliged to hear anything anyone has to say. My friend's been passed around and any background information, or similar experiences would be helpful in trying to stay ahead of the curve.
Many thanks indeed.
