I am 28 years old, overweight, but in good health. My bp is normal. I had my son by c-section 7 weeks ago. About 2 weeks after surgery I started having upper chest and back pain. It got progressivly worse until 2 weeks after that I went to the ER and they said I was having a panic attack. They did an EKG and chest xray and it was fine. I was still having the pain so I went to my family dr. She thought it was stomach acid so she gave me samples of Protonix. I took one pill and then developed a headache. The headache is still lingering after a week and a half. I thought it might be tension because it moves around my head and into the base of my neck. Then my ears began to hurt and the pain moved into my jaw. I went back to the dr. a week later and she was more upset with me that I wasn't taking the medicine she gave me samples for than to listen to about my headache. The headache comes and goes and so does the chest and back pain. But it is every day and I'm probably in some sort of pain 3/4 of the day. Is this something that could still be lingering from my surgery or could there be something else wrong.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
