For around five years now I've had a medical condition that no doctor seems real concerned about to do anything although I feel it could be a serious condition. It all started when I was 19 I am 24 now. In the beginning the first symptom was that for 3 consecutive days my bottom left eyelid began twitching, it was a constant twitch with a rythm that started the first day then didn't end till the 3rd day then it just stopped. Then everything was fine for a while then I began experiancing hemifacial spasms on that same left side where the eyelid twitching had occured. The spasms were sporadic and would occur mainly on my cheek area and beside my left eye. Since about the time the facial spasms began I have experianced a slight pain and discomfort in front of my left earlobe. I had an MRI and it showed I had a growth in or around my parotid gland. I then had an ultrasound guided biopsy and the results were that the growth contained lymphocytes. I am also plagued with extremely dry and itchy scalp that nothing will help alleviate I have seen a dermatologist and nothing worked. I have also had a swollen lymphnode on the right side of my neck throughout these past 5 years. The doctor that sent me to get the biopsy said that I should just come see him in 6 months but he was the 3rd doctor I had seen on the issue and I just want to get it taken care of. If a medical professional could please give my their opinion I would greatly appreciate it and will be happy to answer any questions you may haveReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
