Possible Reactive Hypoglycemia?

In the past I think my symptoms were diagnosed (wrongly) as anxiety. These days it just doesn't make sense.

Irritable, cynical. But that might just be me.
Headaches. I've been getting chronic migraines since I was about 13. I average about 1 or 2 a month.
Weird sensations in limbs.
Pain in feet. Almost always cold 24/7. They get very sweaty in the evening to the point where I continually change my socks.
Some memory problems.
Always tired.
Muscles are very stiff and inflexible.
Eyesight has deteriorated since I was in my mid-twenties. Seems to be worse in the evening.
It seems like I pee out every single ounce of liquid that I drink.
Some caffeine sensitivity.
I often feel dizzy and disconnected. Like I'm on some sort of mild hallucinogen when I'm clearly not.

Blood pressure? Blood sugar? Anxiety? Celiac’s? Some sort of Glandular disorder?

How do I go about getting tested and finding out whats wrong without breaking the bank?

  • Based on the "peeing every single ounce I drink" I'd have my blood sugar tested. That was one of my husband's primary symptoms when he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

  • This sounds very similar to the symptoms I am experiencing of hypoglycemia. It seems to be very hard to diagnose and/or effectively treat. I too had one pompous physician insist it was anxiety after a "quick" review of my file, but fortunately have a PC who knows me and cares enough to keep seeking answers. Find a good endocrinologist who can methodically work through and assess each part of your endocrine systems (very complex!). Keep us posted and check my thread for updates on my struggle. Perhaps we'll both find the answers we need.
