Possible Hyperventilation Syndrome?

I've had this problem for over a year, it feels as if I have a difficulty breathing, but I get in enough oxygen. After a bit of Googling, I think I might have hyperventilation syndrome - everything fits :S

I have the urge to try and deeply breathe every few seconds, and it doesn't feel like an 'accomplished' breath, and I have the urge to try again. After a while, I have to belch - and this is a never-ending cycle... It also could have something to do with acid reflux, as it gets worse after meals.

Any ideas?

I visited my doctor, and he didn't have a definitive diagnosis, he prescribed medicines to solve the symptoms, on two occasions - they helped!

The medicines the doctor prescribed are:
Slo-Theo /50mg
Pepcidine /20mg

Any ideas?
