I am new to the forum, so I hope I can get through it without much difficulty.
I am a 44 yr old female and about 2 weeks ago, my back started hurting, at the left shoulder blade and into my left lung. After a week, I went to my Dr and he said I had bronchitis.
This was last Monday; I was unable to work. He called me in some Levaquin 750mg, 10 day supply. I worked Tues and on Wed, my boss sent me home @ 12PM because I was so cold and could barely breathe. I went straight to the Dr and he said it was bronchitis, again. I suggested pneumonia. He prescribed Allegra-D. I got the Target brand. The pain in my back had gotten so severe that I couldn't lie down without gasping for breath. I couldn't breathe at all. I went to the hospital for chest xrays on Fri; I thought my lung had collapsed. My Dr said the xrays were negative; he prescribed Neproxen for pain, which made me nauseas and did nothing for the pain. My boss' wife suggested pleurisy. My back has slowly gotten better; pain only in the evening now after work, but now my legs are so swollen and I have so much fluid on me that I can't even bend my knees. I can't afford to go back to the Dr right now; is it normal, since I feel that I had so much fluid in my lungs; does anyone have a suggestion for home remedies to help the swelling? ie. Epson salt baths...?

Thanks a bunch.
