Please help. I am having chest pain upon breathing in, with the pain going into one or both lungs up into collarbone and neck. The problem IS- this started almost three years ago after heart surgery- mitral valve repair. I have had my heart checked and all is well with that. This pain has been increasing in frequency, now almost constant. The only thing that calms this down is prednisone and taking this has destroyed my stomach.
I don't know what can be causing this. It is extreme crushing chest pain at times, where I try my best to avoid breathing because it hurts so bad. I have been tested for auto immune disorders and nothing shows yet. (Like Lupus or some reason this keeps coming back- I also have Raynauds)
I have been to about a dozen doctors and they don't know what to do for me or why this is happening. (Blood work, x rays, CAT scans, Pulmonologist)
PLEASE any ideas? Or questions for me that may help us figure it out?
