I have been reading some threads searching for an answer to my problem, but I think it's better if I post my specific case.

I've been sexually involved with a co-worker for 2 1/2 years, she's very clean and as far as I know never had any kind of STD. However, she's always had a whitish discharge while we are having intercourse and her vaginal odor is a little stronger than other women I've been with, but I didn't find it worrysome.

I'm know with a girlfriend for the last six months and have continued to have sex periodically with my co-worker, but two months ago, after her period, I noticed a specially bad vaginal odor on her. I thought it would go away on its own but then my girlfriend also developed this foul odor! She took Canesten and the odor went away but came back again after her period, my girlfriend uses benzal douches regularly. My co-worker has had the odor non-stop for two months.

None of them have itching, burning or any kind of discomfort, just the very bad odor. I don't have any kind of symptoms either. The only symptom is their very bad vaginal odor, nothing else.

I'm really worried about this and would like to know your opinion, both my girlfriend and co-worker went to the ginecologist and both were only given Canesten to treat their infection, but weren't tested for any diseases, as if this was normal, please help! :(

  • go to your county STD clinic and get checked out for everything..no, if you passed it to your one girlfriend, you know it's contagious. You just don't know what it is. Once you figure it out, tell each one of them to take the meds at the same time and use a condom from now on if you are playing around..

  • OK, that's what I was thinking. But since I don't have any symptoms thought maybe it would be harder to make a correct diagnosis, I usually always use a condom, but I guess I must change "usually" for "absolutely". :o

  • They were not tested for anything because they prob. are unaware that you are putting them at risk. STDs can cause an order but also a bacteria that they consider not an std can cause the odor also. Bacteria vaginosis or something like that I would google that and look more into it but after women have their period they may have a smell for a couple of days that should go away they may need to drink more water or change their diet or something maybe you need to get treated also if it keeps coming back. You may be the carrier of the bacteria that keeps infecting them You should always use condoms when you are sleeping around or not sleeping around it shouldn't matter. You are not married to either woman maybe you should confess whats going on and get tested yourself

  • fairy_princess: I have a life, I'm not the one searching internet forums for people to insult. Save it for your own boyfriend/husband, but being such a b**ch I can see why he cheats on you. You don't know me or what I do in my life. I'm not a saint, as I'm sure your're not either. I made a mistake, I'm sorry for this and I'll make sure not to repeat it. But you should take care of your own life and stop playing god on people....

  • Yes Eddie, we don't like preachers here either. Have you considered that maybe when you are playing with them that they may be playing with someone else, too?

  • Of course, that's always a possibility and in fact more a probability, so we should all be responsible and protect ourselves when performing sexual acts with more than one partner.
