For the last year I have been experiencing a strange combination of symptoms. When I lift an object more than 13 or so pounds I get an overwhelming tingling sensation at the bottom of my vaginal area and it quickly spreads down both legs. I’m not quite sure but I think it stops right below my knees. My legs get very numb and weak and I have to stop walking but don’t have enough strength to sit myself down. It is equal in both legs and ALWAYS starts right between my legs. It started a year ago when I was pregnant so I assumed it was pregnancy related. Now my son is 11months old and weighs 21 lbs. It has gotten much worse. When I lift him out of the car seat it happens and I have to just stop until it is over. It lasts about 45-60 seconds. I saw a resident doctor and she stated that because it is both legs and I don’t have any back pain they are going to refer me to Neurology. I’m very nervous and confused. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
