please help to diagnose my baby's symptoms

my baby is 22 days old, born with heart and facial abnormalities , lots of chromosome tests where done ,results are that he has 47 chromosome and the additional chromosome is in the 9th chromosome and part of it is missing, he is on vetilator in the hospital....... is it true that he has this rare disease
are there any treatments for trisomy 9q disease, please help me and if there is any where to go and ask

  • Usually the lower the number on the chromosone chain the more devastating the disease. I used to work with multiplly disabled children. Please see a social worker and ask them for local and national resources immediately for your child and assistance with getting a disability for social security and services there after. The hospital should have such a person.Also, if there is a medical library as the doctor or nurse to do a medical search for you to educate yourself on the prognosis.Good Luck, I will pray for you!
