hope i find a right place to ask for help! thanks for your attention first.my mum was all but killed by the traffic accident two month ago. hopefully, doctors saved her life. but because of the fractured and dislocated C5,6 and the fractured L1, incontinence and paraplegia reslut. right now, she could only lie in bed, and there's weakness in her arms. a deep wound also develped over the hip bones, so, she kept having a high fever. many thanks for helping me with the treatment of bedsores and the recovery of bowel and bladder control.

  • Hi there. I am not too clear on what your question is, but I can offer general commentary. I hope that you have been able to arrange for medical care and rehab that your mother is happy with. The deficits that she is experiencing (loss of bladder/bowl continence, loss of motor function to the lower extremeties) are dictated by the injuries that she has sustained to her spinal cord. Good rehab can improve function modestly (one spinal level), but for the most part, her deficits are fixed and will not change. The bedsores are a complication of immobility and occur at points of prolonged pressure. There are special beds that can decrease the likelihood of bedsores, and her nursing staff should be regularly moving her to prevent them from occuring. Once present, they are treated with antibiotics, and wound care.

Hi. I'm so sorry your mom was hurt. If you're willing to think and hunt "outside the box" I'd suggest reading what Aajonus Vonderplanitz did for his son who was injured in a car accident. Also start hunting at the U.S. Library of Medicine for natural helps to protect and restore myelin and other parts of the body that involve function. www.pubmed.com I search using the following words ONE at a time - herb, herbal, mushroom, bark, vine, vitamin, root, leaves, berry. Add a word to describe the problem you're trying to fix .... such as circulation or renal or spinal etc.. If it were me I'd also find practitioners to come visit your mom.... some do make "house calls". We use a naturopathic doctor and sometimes acupuncture. Prayer is the best helper of all. Blessings, Ali :)
