I am having diarrhea (which is green and watery) and abdominal discomfort for the past week. Then a couple of days ago I started to cramp. I don't have a fever, I don't have blood in my stool or in my urine. I do have white blood cells in my feces via lab tests but my blood count was normal. What is wrong with me????

  • Green stools are often a sign that the gallbladder is not working right. But do not let em take it out. See an alternative health pro that knows how to deal effectively with these types of problems.

  • Ralph Very curious as to why you say do not let them take it out? I had mine out it was very diseased, nasty, pusy, huge golf ball sized stone, etc... Daily issues any food I ate fatty or not caused symptoms. Could alt health have helped me? I did not look for alt cures, as I wanted the aflicting organ out. Do not take the above wrong as I am not disagreeing with you or debating you at ALL, as I said I am very curious as to why. Cala

  • At certain stages of GB disease it may need to be taken out. Mine was removed 32 years ago as my body had turned a bit green from the blockage. I feel many of my health challenges are due to that, and due to the fact that I was told I didn't need it. You can survive without one, but you absolutely cannot digest fat correctly without one. GBs concentrate bile made by the liver. They store the bile and then release it when certain amounts of fat are eaten. The bile "emulsifies" (Ah..........the big fancy medical word to confuse the public - some sarcasm here) the fat, which means it mixes it up and helps break it down so it can be digested efficiently. Well digested good fats are essential for good health. Most of the cell membranes - the outer shell - are made from fat. The brain is 60% fat. Most hormones are fat based. So if you want to make good parts you need good fats in correctly. I currently use bile salts with most meals and greatly encourage patients who have no GBs to also use them. Why traditional docs say what they often do about GBs means to me that they do not really know much about the roles of fats and the role of the GBs. Maybe it is their brains as they probably do not eat good fats and digest them well !
